Breng gedachten vol verlangen naar het grote stille strand

We waren een weekend op Vlieland, met z'n tweeën. Het enige waddeneiland waar ik nog nooit eerder geweest was. En het was heerlijk. Nou ja, valt het ooit wel eens tegen op de Wadden? Wandelen, fietsen,  uitwaaien en innemen. Dat is zo'n beetje het recept.

Leuke verrassing tijdens een strandwandeling; de Vliehorsexpress, een soort omgebouwde legertruck, heeft speciale banden, waarmee tijdens de rit, gedichten in het zand worden gedrukt. Breng gedachten vol verlangen naar het grote stille strand/ schrijf ze duizend stille malen tussen duizend korrels zand.

We were at Vlieland, one of the islands in the north of the Netherlands. Just the two of us. These islands, are a very special part of our country. If you'r ever in the Netherlands forget the mills and wooden shoes and go to one of these islands. Hiking, cycling, the wind in your hair and having a drink, that's about the recipe for a good stay at the islands.

Very nice to see on the beach were the imprints made by the tires of a truck. They  have these poems on their tires!"Take your thoughts full of longing to the wide and silent beach/ write them thousand silent times between the thousand grains of sand".
