150 gr. pure chocolade (78% cacao of meer)
1 liter melk
kaneel, flinke snuf
piment, iets minder flinke snuf
Hak de chocolade in brokken en smelt het au-bain-marie. Giet de melk met specerijen erbij (kardemompeulen even pletten met een mes en omhulsel weggooien) en laat langzaam aan de kook komen. Roer eventueel nog even flink met de gardes, sommige chocolade valt wel eens wat eigenaardig uiteen.
We dreamed of beautiful black ice to skate on, but then it started to snow. So no skating on the most beautiful spots yet, but Nova Zembla, the ice rink (real ice) near our place was open. We weren't the only ones, and the ice was not in the best condition ever, but man, did we have fun!
I made us a very nice hot chocolatemilk once we were home. Try, and you'll be hooked too!
1 liter milk
150 grams dark chocolate (78% cocoa)
2 star anise
4 cardamom pods
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon all spice (piment)
clotted cream (with sugar)
Chop the chocolate in big chunks and melt it au bain-marie. Get the seads out of the cardamom pods. Pour the milk and the spices with the melted chocolate and make cook it slowly. Pour the mugs for three quarters and add the clotted cream. There's really no reason to worry about your figure at this time....
